Dr. Danial Sharifi Razavi

Foot and ankle surgery and lower-limb deformity correction, with a special focus on children and adolescents, in Tehran.

In three dimensions

Two deformities and their correction

A model of the 26 bones of a right foot, shown first with each deformity and then in the alignment its correction aims for.

Flexible flatfoot reconstruction

In flexible flatfoot the inner arch sinks under the body's weight: the talus tips down and the line it should share with the first metatarsal breaks. Reconstruction aims to restore the arch and straighten that line.

Hallux valgus surgery

In hallux valgus the first metatarsal drifts inwards and the big toe angles out towards the second toe. Surgery brings both back into line.
